Default calling all monte drivers, i need help in OH

alright heres the deal, I am in need of a rear silver bumper cover, a yard out in Akron, OH has a silver bumper cover, he will not ship for what ever reason he refuses to ship it for me. so I need a OH local to purchase the unit (on my ticket of course) and have it shipped out to me in eastern PA. 18053.

the yards number is - 330-784-6029

I do not know his asking price, im thinking in the 150-200 range is what he's looking for, what ever it is, it's all on my ticket. thanks guys ^_^

There's a member on here named The_Maniac.

Shoot him a PM. He might be able to help you, but his forum time has been killed so he might not see this thread.

I doubt it. He lives in Mentor, that's almost an hour drive to Akron. It's not much better for me either or I would have offered (about 45 minutes for me)

I know its far for him, but he goes junk yard hopping all the time. He might want to go just to try to get other parts from the car too lol.

I'll contact him about it, but here's the hangup... his hours are Monday-Friday, 8-5 and he's closed on the weekends. If he can't allow a weekend pickup I don't think I'll be able to get it because of work.

Edit...they want $350 for it.

WOW, I got the PMs about this but never knew about this thread.

@WalkingOnABullet - Not sure if I got back to you, but I never did get a chance to call the yard on this part (I was actually trying to see if I had a contact in that area, no one close enough). Based on our last PM it seems like a lost cause due to being out priced. Now that I see this thread, is hours are 8-5 m-f, I can't do it.

If you find something more Cleveland based, MogWog and I might be able to help. As MogWog mentioned, I am in Mentor, about 20 miles east of Cleveland. As Chibi mentioned, I hit some yards (Pull-A-Part is the chain I go to, it's a great operation and they use a web site to tell you what they have on the lot, they have 4 locations in Ohio and I've been to them all).

Pull-A-Part has Akron and Canton locations. I've been to those two twice, they are further away for me.

Also, even though silver is a common Monte color, you may want to look into get a cover and just get it freshly painted.
