Thanks! Yeah I know last summer I bought an overlay for the steering wheel, it makes it look like the old blue chevy emblem (which I was never fond of) but it matches the car color. It seems pretty light in this pic, but it's a lot darker in person.

I screwed up and had already painted the outside of my bowtie before I found the write up on popping out the center clear plastic piece. It looks OK, but I haven't tested to see how long it is going to hold up against the elements. I used many coats of clear coat though hoping that will help.

Default Bowtie water damage

Looking for suggestions from anyone on the cheapest quickest way to fix this. My trunk bowtie has what looks to be water in it and it looks like ****e. Its looking like the vinyl overlay would be the first thing to try. Is there a colour that would match the monte carlo ss (chrome) and where is the best place to order from. I'm in Canada. Thx in advance.

X2 for these, I have one on the back of mine, and overlays from them as well for the rest, It's great because of the domed vinyl they use, simply replaces your gold plastic piece, or for like SS emblems just lays on over.

They have a huge selection of colors, and I've always had a great time dealing with them.
