black plastic fading

Default black plastic fading

the plastic around the outside of my sunroof is fading pretty bad...everything else on the car is immaculate...and this dull black around the sunroof doesnt look good....what is a good product to apply to this to restore its color/shine??

Have you tried Armorall?

you might not be able to get that color back on plastic. what part is it to be exact? can you take a picture

I've had pretty good results with Mothers Back to Black. It works pretty good at removing wax residue on plastic pieces also.

try peanut butter, not even joking, it works great, its the peanut oil that restores the shine

hmmm would never have thought about that...i'll have to keep that in mind!

i have not tried anything...i have heard that sometimes, depending on the material, certain products can actually dry it out more when exposed to excessive sun. i will try and get a photo tomm. but when looking at the sunroof outside its the black plastic around the glass...
