I believe the piece you are talking about is the inner belt moulding they aren't too expensive. Probably around 20-30 dollars. But if they did it I would tell them to make it right. As for the side skirts they probably broke the clips that hold them on as they are very brittle and very difficult to remove without breaking. When I did mine I just bought a whole box of new clips for the side skirts and put new ones in. If its the clips that are broke you can get them individuly from gm for a buck or two per clip or get a whole box of them from auveco for arount $10. Hope this helps.

I would make them fix everything...if they messed it up, then make them fix it completly, and let them do it until its done RIGHT. You need to say something before its to late....

sounds like damage created from the bodyshop removing parts for paint and repair. take it back to them. they may try and say its all previous, but if u know its not and your not happy with the work, keep at them.

many techs just reef on that belt molding to get it off and alot of time they bend, or crack if they pry on it.

x10; if it was for sure their fault- make them fix it all. I'm sure they were paid good money for the job, they need to do it correctly.

I agree with zwc0442 about the clips on the sideskirts. GM for some reason cannot design a rocker cover that comes off easy. The clips always break when you take them off. They probably broke them and didnt want to pay for new ones. Take it back and make them replace the clips and the piece they broke on the door panel. Do it as soon as possible. The longer you wait, the less likely it will be that they fix it for you.

I keep on people until the car is up to my perfection level.

My steering wheel once wasn't perfectly straight after my transmission was replaced. My dad said it wasn't bad at all and I should just leave it... well I called my shop and told them and said I'm bringing it in because I need this fixed. It's not right and give me a time I could come in. Came in, and got it done.
