I feel bad dragging this out forever but I'm unable to physically do anything with this project right now. This Friday will be my search day for a donor stock pair as I'm back and have that day off from work, so I'll give an actual update on Friday.

UPDATE
Called a few places this morning with no luck on a donor pair of salvaged OEM headlights. One place actually has an 06 Impala in the yard but it has only one headlight remaining which does me no good. I may try some more places but after taking a closer look at these headlights I may just run with what I have instead of trying to find a donor pair.
I test fitted one on the car to get an idea of look and fitment. The signal connectors do have a gasket around them to seal to the back of the housing. Their connectors are similar to stock (basically open on the backside where the wires pass through and then caulked to seal the opening) but the stockers do a better job of how they seal. I will most likely add some sealant on top of theirs to be on the safe side. Once I reseal the lens I think the whole thing should be sealed well.

Frank, I actually found a few by me on Craigslist so I'll go there if I decide to. One guy wants $65 for his pair.
