no not really do you have to take the headlight apart? Idk if I wanna keep this set and have to work on them for the amount I paid for.

I think you would but honestly I'm not sure. I didn't take a close enough look at mine when I got them but I'm going to have them apart to work on them anyway. Although, I'm definitely not ripping apart my stock headlights just for the wiring so I may run into a problem there. If it's not an easy swap from the stock headlights to these I'll have to see what my options are. I at least want to change out the turn signal and side marker connectors since the ones that came on these are POS.

I need to take a closer look in person to know what I'm dealing with. I won't really know until I start working on mine.

Plan on starting the work on mine over Easter weekend, so two weeks.

Those damn connectors are the main reason I finally got fed up and sent them back. I was going to swap over the harness from my factory assemblies but it looked like the lense had to be taken off, chancing ruining them. I really dont mind projects but similar to what xxtheshockerxx said, I felt like after spending $150, I really shouldnt have to! Props to 06mistreSS for taking the initiative to make them right! Hope they turn out man!

Thanks I really hope they do too!

I'm not able to look at or work on them right now so I don't exactly know what I have to do and/or what my options are regarding the wiring/connectors. I'll give an update when I get started on them, which should be in about two weeks.

I ordered a roll of the butyl rubber glue from TRS ($21 shipped) and that shipped today.

So, I'm now toying around with the idea of getting a nice pair of donor stock OEM headlights off a Monte Carlo or Impala, taking those apart and using their back housing, reflectors and wiring harness for this project. I can then take the black bezel (with clear reflector) and lens from these new headlights and swap them to the donor OEM pair so I have the best of both worlds; a stock OEM rear housing and wiring harness along with the look I want.

Well good news. The seller on ebay is sending me another set and didn't say he needed my other set. So I may have an extra set to mess with

That's good to hear! Hope this pair doesn't give you any problems. I just want to get to working on mine already! I should be able to start next weekend. The car is coming out of storage one of the next three weekends.

Good luck Zach. I think either red rings or the entire bezel red would look sweet.

I feel bad dragging this out forever but I'm unable to physically do anything with this project right now. This Friday will be my search day for a donor stock pair as I'm back and have that day off from work, so I'll give an actual update on Friday.
