i have a huge spot where my bumper is pushed in on my ls i was wondering if i could put a ss bumper on my car or would it not fit??

 

im not sure on your question. but from what i understand the covers will fit yes. you should check this out if you want to get the pushed in spot out for now.

the ss and ls bumpers are basicaly the same... only difference is that the "ss" has mounting holes for the added "lip" from the high sport package

 

@ Monte2k: I am searching for 2 bumpers (front and back) and kind of leary on purchasing them off ebay (already primed and ready for paint). The reason being is because I don't know if it is the correct fit for my 01 Monte (ss). Since my bumpers are cracked badly (front right-hand side, wife did that this past weekend while hittin a block of ice and rear, right-hand corner is split down the middle). So I want the sport look (with the body kit) but not for sure if those bumpers are worth purchasing....

 

This is only true if the car has the High Sport kit on it or if its a factory supercharged Monte. There are some SS's that didn't get either option which uses the same bumper exact as the LS and is completely painted.

 

What is a website that we could use to purchase already painted bumpers?

Agree, just didnt explain my self very well i guess

also im thinking you can mount high sport package to the ls bumpers, just have to mark te holes and drile them out yourself...

i had a crack on the front of my bumper from the headlight haldway down... used some plastic epoxy repair kit, its been two years, hasnt cracked yet!(even after sliding in the back of some one on ice in a parking lot) ill see if i have pictures of the crack before i repaired it
