Money on a Monte is never a waste, but priorities are another thing

i agree on chiba and the last coment if i didnt have to pay a mogage and a car payment. i would have gotten every last detail done to my car already than peacing it out over time when i get the extra $$$. its all about the priority of every thing. what i mean is a place to stay is more important then getting every thing we want and go broke. when i get my hood will be in two years if i dont get a raise in pay

Right now with my K&N intake, there is an opening on the top so it looks like it would push the air into the same place with the ram air hood. Would this cause any problems or would it help if anything?

The ram air hood would deflect some air onto your filter, but it's not fully noticeable, but it won't cause any problems or harm anything. It is giving your filter colder air as you drive, but it's not enough to be the SOLE cold air provider.

Sorry haven't been here in a while and my old handle and password wouldn't work. I'm not so crazy about that Ram hood. They belong on a truck IMHO. Big and gaudy in my opinion. I think someone should do an old school (70' monte or 70' chevelle style) low 1.5" cowl induction hood for the 06'-07'
