Winter StormH

It's intense here! I leave Lindenwood early & skipped my last two classes bcuz I'm sorry but I'm not risking my life for school, especially when I already hate it. The monte went from no ice on it on campus to completely covered (with like 2 inches on the front bumper & side mirrors) by the time I got home which took forever! TOday I'm just chilling at home bcuz everything is covered in snow. Most of the area is closed down anyway, the news has a separate list scrolling on the tv of all of the businesses that are closed today. I'm in the area that's suppose to get 10 to 20 inches of snow & so is Troy, Troy is suppose to get it worse though since it's more northwestern then us

Well, like I said earlier, I get Tuesday's off because I go in on Saturdays (I'm the IT guy so I update all the workstations while no one is there), but I think I'm getting screwed this time. We didn't get too much snow and the sleet held off until later, but now I'm listening to it just coming down outside and tomorrow I have to go in... Oh well, I threw about 200 pounds of sandbags in the back of the Silverado today so I'll take that tomorrow and leave the Monte at home.
But usually the timing is perfect, our last couple of big storms have been on Tuesdays (kind of an odd day to get off... but, hey, it works).

Hi Brittany - Here In the Kirkwood area we got about an inch of ice - I finally got my Monte out of the driveway and drove it for the first time in severe weather. She did great! The traction control didn't kick in once, until I got back home and slid going up the driveway where I forgot to shovel. Anyway, I was very glad to be out of the house after 24 hours of watching rain and sleet and ice fall on my beautiful car. Hope you're staying warm...
