Default Winter StormH

Has already started icing here. Sleet. Suppose to get 1-2" of ice and I am on the border of the snow line. 6-12". I hate it. I have my gas fireplace and other things to get through. Grocery stores were mobbed today. Out of carts when I went. How is it in your world?

It's cold, rainy and BORING here in St. Louis...we're stuck in the house cuz the roads are getting icy and dangerous. The snow hasn't started yet - we're expecting 5-10" tomorrow night into Wednesday. What do you all do when you get house-bound?

We should have 3-5 inches on the ground and freezing rain by tomorrow morning here in the Cleveland area. Another 3-5 w/ sleet tomorrow, and another 1-3 Wednesday night.

So 7-13 inches in the next 24 hours.

Boy, I'm really starting to like this having off on Tuesdays thing. Last 3 big storms we've had has been on Tuesdays. Now going to work on Saturday doesn't feel so bad

No new snow yet. Still got the 4 or 5 inches of snow on the ground from the last snow fall. But here in the Detroit area, we're supposed to get 12 more inches by wednesday.

No chance of my employer giving us a snow day.

We don't get snow days either. Last year in February when we got the 25-30 inch blizzard, those of us that made it to work got special T-shirts. I'm glad I risked my life and/or wrecking my vehicle for the shirt.:p

1/4"-1/2" of ice accumulation in pittsburgh supposed to start around 4am. Should be an interesting morning tomorrow. I already pre-salted my driveway and my front steps.
