I've belonged to a few forums over the years, and still actively participate in most of them. It is true, it is very easy to feel invisible in this and any forum as sometimes the conversations take place and you are missed in the shuffle, but I do believe a lot of that mostly depends on who is on line at the time you are, so I never try to take it personal.

A lot of the time, life gets in the way and you just don't have the time to spend on line like you used too ie. children, work etc etc.

I think a lot of it is due to the people have just purchased their monte's and are still on the "hi" of owning and during the honeymoon period they want to find out all the can, and see if there are others that share in their new found passion, but then like previously said, they sell their car for something new, or have an accident or get divorced, the list goes on.

I really like this forum, it is one of the nicest I have ever found and for the most part everyone is very friendly and have usually experienced the same car related issues as you may be experiencing so the advice you can get within the forum is invaluable.

I don't consider you a nobody around here at all!! At one time, proud owner of two Montes, now a Monte and a Mustang. And you still enjoy your Precious and taking her to shows.

I won awhile back.....it's been a long time it seems like. I am still sticking around you guys will have to kick me out if you want me to leave. It is as much a family as a forum for me. I know if I need a question answered here I get a lot of good responses and very rarely if ever run into someone that isn't polite. If I make a thread I try to reply to everyone or atleast thank them for helping me out or complementing my car. I have had a few times I have slowed down posting on here but everyone knows how that can get with a hectic schedule.

Thanks for the support. And if I get down on myself, you guys are there to pick me up - I guess that's why I stay. It's been a wonderful 11+ years of owning Precious and even though I don't mod him anymore, he's definitely come a long way from being a daily driver for about 3 years to a national car show winner.

X2, I always have an appreciative ear for your words Amy. I too for one am proud to know you via the forum and like the humor and honest opinions you provide to others on a near daily basis. Your the Queen of the MCF through default if for no other reason than your longevity here on the forum. Your a true car enthusiast, thick and thin. Hope to one day see your Monte and you in person. Some people may win and then they feel satisfied with theirs cars.

For me I just came to the realization that modifying my Monte isn't really worth it anymore. If I decide to keep it in the near future I will probably do some more visual modifications (plate filler, roof rails, tails) and call it a day with my car.

With that being said I find it hard to stay interested a lot of the time on things I've already done, not sure if that makes me selfish as I don't intend for it to be that way at all.

Also, there are a lot of people I miss talking to here as I'm no longer really frequenting the site, but there's a number of posts that I don't miss seeing.

In the end, this is the site that really got me into cars. I read back on my very first couple of threads here and realize how stupid I was and how far you all brought me to knowing what I know now. For that I appreciate you all and you all feel like family to me.
