Thanks everyone yep could have been a lot worse. glad wife had enough wits about her to keep the car under control when she got hit.

Glad she is ok. I guess that is what matters. I see disabled cars and dead deer on the side of the road a lot this time of year. I have a 12 mile stretch of country road I have to take on my 28 mile ride to work daily.

Glad Ronda is okay. Too bad the deer got away. Some Bambi burgers would've been good.
And before anyone groans about being heartless to the deer... If the deer is going to die from it's injuries anyway, you may as well get the meat from it.
Anyway, I'm just glad Ronda is okay. The car can be fixed.

WOW! My dad and step mom had a similar situation as Rhonda did with a deer. The deer ran right into the passenger side of their '00 Grand Am. Just like with you Buick, insurance fixed it. We still fine glass in it from the driver side window that smashed.
Important part is, everyone was fine (except the deer). We can replace cars, but not people.
