In one hand I say "leave it alone, the species has been exstinct for many years and probably for good reason". In another hand, I think "what scientific and medical advances may result as part of the learning of doing such a task".
Jurassic Park showed us this concept "gone bad". In real life, I'm not sure how well that movie applies.
I'm not sure I'm 100% for this idea, but I am not sure I'm 100% against it. I would ask, why don't they try to bring back something a wee bit small and easier to contain.

& really I thought about it, part of me thinks that the only reason why people try to do crap like this ir for bragging rights & for the power of it. Bcuz seriously, what good can truly come from this? As much as I love dinosaurs & what not, I don't see the point of figuring out EVERYTHING there is to know about animals that are extinct. They are gone & done, let's move on to animals that are alive today & trying to protect them from people like those damn Japanese people with their harpoons shall we...
