Well I work 12 hour shifts over the summer but on a 28 day rotation, so I only work 14 days out of 28. The overtime is usually there though, last Christmas break I worked 18 days out of the 21 I had off. We can only work 6 days in a row according to mine policy. Was good money for a college student though, about $3.5K take home. More than some of my buddies make in a whole summer.
That's the great thing about working shift work is that I get 14 days off out of every 28. Only thing is that I run out of stuff to do here in this small town.

I worked two jobs for two weeks last summer. 6-2 M-F for golf course grounds crew, and then 4-10 at Kroger grocery store. M-Sat. i made good money but my life consisted of eating working and sleeping. So i stopped working at my Kroger job. So normally i would get about 70 hours a week.
now i just do the golf course job this summer and am making a dollar more than last year so i am happy.

Wow, I got it easy... I worked a 10 hour shift at McDonalds once and 13 hours at a farm another time. My longest week at McDonalds wa ssomething like 55 hours (with school though, that wore me out!) and the farm during the summer was about 60 hours one week while harvesting watermelons and cantelopes.
I am a lazy bum compared to the rest of the MCF though, apparently.

My girlfriend Debbie once worked two full time jobs.
She would go to work, come home for a few hours and then go to job #2. Come home for a few hours and go to job #1. And so on.
After about 6 months she quit job #2.
Oh, and this thursday is her last day at her part-time job. She's been working a full & part time jobs for about 5 years now.
