What was your first car!!!!

Well, from everything I learned about what made a car a F.I. car, since Chevy didn't keep records for something they should have, the signs do point to it. I know that doesn't really nail it down, but eh, you go with your gut on things like that.
Thanks, I like the paint on the truck too!
It's a Camaro 'vert.
Maybe I'll get around to taking some pictures of the '55 and '56 sometime, but right now I just don't have any, well any thing that is digital at least.

Other then the block being marked, there is no way to know for certain "IF" infact the car was original F.I. from the factory. There are numbers as far knowing how many 210 2-door Sedans came with F.I., but it won't list your specific car.
Same with my windowed Sedan Delivery. 1 of 92 built in 1957 is myth. No records kept to prove it. But it's the general concensus this info is true. And I'm just a guilty of keeping the rumor going as anyone is. I do know my Delivery is marked #57 on the VIN tag along with the VIN itself. Plus the number 280 is stamped on there in reference to 300 specialty vehicles being built in 1957 by Chevy.
Some info on my '57s.
I know 4 of my '57s came with V8 engines from the factory. The first and last ones both had duel exhaust. (gas & brake lines on the outside of the frame rail)
5 were built in Norwood, OH. 1 (my first) was built in Baltimore, MD.
My 150 Wagon and Delivery were both made in Cleveland, OH. Then shipped to other assembly plants to be assembled.
I would love to own your GN. (So would a lot of other 4th gen Monte owners)

Well I drove to college every day and when I started my parents gave me the 1998 Lumina LTZ. It was 4 years old and had 24k on it at the time. I drove it to school for 3 years and traded it for my Sierra my Sr year. She had 60k when I got the truck. I loved the car, but still wished he got the Monte Carlo at the time. I also wish that car had leather and the moonroof, but he did not buy it that way, but it did have the 3800, buckets, power driver seat, dual zone AC and my favorite the machine faced wheels!
