Default Your first car

My guess is that this has been done before, but if its worth doing, its likely worth doing again.

That said, tell us about your first car.

Mine was a 1993 Cavalier RS Sedan, in Caribbean Blue

Not mine

It leaked fuel from all 4 injectors, had to have the head re-planed, and finally died at 225,000 miles while taking a corner uphill, where the engine seized, and I had to roll down the hill backwards with no power steering. It was a fun.

That car was replaced by a '91 Olds Cutlass supreme with the 3.1 V6. Not a bad car, and I actually really liked it, minus the frizzy carpet on the doors.

I finally replaced it with a 2000 Blazer LS 4x4, it was a nice truck until it took to eating ball joints and u-joints, it was replaced by my Monte

Was Mine

For me, I guess it depends on how you look at it. My parents bought me an 84 Monte Carlo SS, it wasn't in awesome condition, but for 2 grand it would have been a nice project car, but it was stolen. I then bought a 95 Blazer, but it was put in my moms name, so still wasn't completely mine. Now I have my 06 MC SS, which is fully 100% mine, so any one of them could have been my first, LOL.

My first car was an utter piece of ****. Merkur XR4Ti.

Mine looked similar to this one, only the hood and grille were white because my pops hit a deer with it.

first car I actually paid for myself, a 1972 pontiac lemans 350 motor, running on 6 cylinders! replaced the cam and it was running sweet after that! paid $200 for it! second was a 67 formula S 383 barracuda fastback $1200, sweet car, I didn't get a chance to do to much to it! had to sell it to pay for a dui (stupid)! third car 74 chevy nova $3200, ran a 12.41 qtr mile when the guy I bought it from had it. it pretty much nickled and dimed me from day one, but it was a sweet car, got dui #2 in it but I got out of it due to idiot police officer who screwed up and then sold it for $800 to a freind of mines brother. car is now a hot rod qtr mile car that gets hauled to the track on a fladbed all above info is no BS

first car was my '65 buick skylark. 2 door sedan, black with a blue bench seat interior, 90k original miles, 300 CI 2bbl v8 with a blown up 2 speed auto, got it for free replaced the 2 speed with a free turbo 400 3 speed auto, car runs great, pulled the windsheild out to reseal and kinda stalled on the resto, still working on it though! just recently i picked up a 425 CI buick "nailhead" V8 attached to a buick turbo 400 3 speed to rebuild and do an engine swap later on....

when i first got it:

a couple of weeks ago

and the 425 engine:

1986 Smoke Grey Honda Prelude. Got it at 160,000 km and drove it to 280,000 before it needed rings and a major tune. Sold it for $900 when I bought my 1996 Sonoma (RIP).

I know it wasn't much for power, but damn I miss driving a stick.
