Air Traffic control may seem stressful, but once you learn how to do it it's really not that bad. The amount of information you have to learn and retain is immense and overwhelming, but still doable. I have a 5 year contract, A-school for me is 15-17 weeks. I don't know where I'll be stationed, but I think I'd like to stay somewhere in the U.S. for my first station.

Good luck on getting Hawaii! I know for air traffic controllers in school, you get to pick from a set of random orders, the order in which you pick is based on the order of people with the highest to lowest grades. Highest gets first pick, second highest gets second and so on. Thanks for your service, might see you in the fleet some day.
