Hi `Ryan,
I'm not into supplements > (except for multi vitamins), & prefer to get my protein from natural foods.

What type of workout are your doing ? I stay pretty active with my work in the warehouses + outdoor activities or water sports & skateboarding....

You may find the below links informative, but you may have already read information like this before, but it may help other member's that may want to know.

Let us know what you are doing & what your goals are ?

I have been lifting about 15 months now. I use Phase 8 protein for right now. It can be gotten really cheap when it is on sale on bodybuilding.com. I got 17.6lbs for $95 It would be an upgrade from the walmart stuff and doesn't break the wallet at all. I know it can get really expensive. I went through a phase where I would try everything and then realized I was spending like $150 a month on crap that made me gain muscle no better and gave me all kinds of side effects.

Well yeah but not for the amount I got. It was on sale so Ibought in bulk to save later. Anytime you can get protein for less than $10 per pound is a good deal.

Syntha 6 whey protein is hands down the best tasting stuff on the market. Use with lacrosse free milk. The milkshake taste is fantastic though. It's about $30-35. Has more than just whey in it though. If say it's effective but I've gotten hurt too many times lately and can't lift consistently.

If your lactose intolerant then you need a whey isolate. Look at intrapro by gaspari
