Default Lifting a Monte...

There are a TON of potholes and EVERY driveway into stores is at a wicked steep angle so my nose hite the asphaut every time (luckily only that dumb front skirt). So seeing as how my car drives on ALOT of dirt roads and hits bottom on every bump unless i go 5mph Im interested in modification. Has anyone seen a lifted MC or know of the process? Looking at alot of old muscle cars, a bunch are lifted and look sweet. Just looking for opinions. Thanks guys

Are you sure you need a lift and not just new shocks / struts. They could just be worn out and not holding up to the pressure, that and driving towards hills / steeps at an angle.

I kind of have to agree with Mike here. Your suspension just might be shot.

Have you ever changed them? :P

If not and you drive an 01 on those roads I'll be it's shot. You can lift the trunk/hood and push down and let go and repeat to rock the car a few times and then when you let off it it really shouldn't keep bouncing.

Usually a local auto repair place can tell you if you need replacements as well, but then you have to worry about pushy salesmen.
