Default Oil weight Change

Oil weight Change. As your car gets high in miles (80,000 and up). Should you change your weight?

I've not heard of this one before. What is the thought behind the change?

I have a question related to oil weight. In my 3400 engine manual it says to use 10W-30 in temperatures above 0 degrees. But when I open the hood the dipstick says 5W-30? Which is the correct one?

I don't know. I've heard it pop up, from time to time.
