Thats what i thought, be so much better if they were aluminum

 

I have a couple of friends that are BIG on the LT1 platform. From what I understand the LT1 in the F-Body/Vette is completely different then the other LT1's like in that a Impala.
Most of it from what I understand is in the heads. Included in what Chibi mentioned, i believe I've heard the valves are smaller in the Impala LT1.

 

They got a different cam aswell, idk bout the intake though, after working on my camaro im not a huge fan of the LT1 lol, its a pain
