Nice looking Malibu Mike sorry your Monte gave up the ghost....

 

First commute to work in the new Malibu...I like it! Very comfortable, absolutely loving the 9 speaker Pioneer Sound System and Chevy MyLink. All nice things to have when you commute 108 miles round trip a day and then throw some driving for work in the mix to round out 120-150 miles a day.

I zero'd out the gas mileage yesterday after filling it up. A touch of city driving, hwy and some stop and go traffic on the way to work, cruising about 75-80 and it's reading 30.4 MPG as of pulling into work. Not bad for the Turbo 4. I think all in all it will probably average 2MPG more than my Monte did (Monte did quite well itself).

 

Well, it's sad to see another Monte go, but we're glad your sticking so tight to the Chevy family! I'm sure it would have been another Monte if they offered one! Tho not my favorite, that's a decent looking Malibu that I'd drive without shame. That's a lot of miles to be driving and it's kinda crazy that you got that out of the Monte. I hope the Malibu can be as solid

 

Sorry to hear you had to get rid of the monte but it does suck when they start to become nothing but money pits. The Malibu looks like a great car though. I do like the corvette you have as well.
