Good evening all. I think I'm done detailing - I'm spent. Started packing the car tonight.

Evenin' folks!

It was an exciting day for me! I got a new unexpected family member. And no, the wife did not give up a baby yet. But I got a new "baby" anyways....

Sorry the car is so dirty - I feel shame

Meet Baby! Baby is what we decided to name our new baby duckling, who walked right into my life at work today! A co-worker mentioned there was a baby duckling out in the parking lot that he nearly hit with his car. So I went out to look and this cutest little angel came rushing out of the bushing "cheeping" away.

I scooped him up, put him in a box and went wandering through the marshy area behind my work and wandered up and down the creek trying to find the little guy's family. But there were none to be found. He was shivering away. All my co-workers have dogs or cats and I have no pets. And I instantly fell in love with him. Who wouldn't.

So I'm going to try to keep him, but my time is tightening up pretty good. My 5 year old could use a friend to give her attention after my wife has our actual baby. Maybe this duck will grow up and fly away and that would be great too. I just want it to have a chance and we're the best shot he's got.

Good evening everyone, have a major thunder and lightning storm rolling in at the moment, had one roll through last night as well. Took tomorrow off work as a holiday so going to sleep in and go look at the local pool place to see just how much a hot tub would cost

Brent very cool of you taking in the duckling like that shows good character that you are taking care of an animal in need. Have fun raising it, and now I am reminded of Joey and Chandler on "Friends" when they had their duck (I think it was a duck, I just remember them calling it a chick lol)

First day of the yard sale wasnt too bad. didnt get rich ( ) ) but was a very relaxing day. my mom came over so we actually got time to chit chat without having to worry about time. Hubby got the rotors and fuel filter changed on the Night magic.....took her for a run tonight..MAN what a difference!!!! ( this is the time i do my happy dance and sing "i got my baby back baby back baby back) that fuel filter was soooooo clogged. i dont know how she ran with the old engine in her with the filter that clogged. NOW that she is running so much better....i have GOT to figure out why the AC wont work,(i dont like the heat) and get her rust spots fixed things are looking up finally after a horrid half a year.

omg so friggin cute!!!!!
