I think last night was our best chance here because of the cloud cover tonight. More snow moving in right now with up to another inch tonight and freezing drizzle possible in the morning. Then I'm curious as to what flooding problems we're going to see this weekend; 37-40 °F for tomorrow, Saturday, and Monday. up to 3/4" of rain on Saturday + melting of 15-20" of snow is more than likely going to create problems.

Yes that wont cause too much flooding it's the Ice jams in the rivers most people are worried about, as ice melts and breaks away they can pile up at a narrow part of a river and cause it to flood.

Evenin' folks!

Well, my truck woes actually worked out really good! As best I can tell, the problem is that my truck hates my wife! Which is ironic because the '95 Bronco is actually hers (like the BudChev) and she's owned it for about 15 years - more than twice as long as she's owned me. But she neglected the thing. Worse than that, she put "eurotails" in it. When we hooked up she bought me the BudChev and I adopted the Bronco as my winter beater. I spent a bunch restoring the body, took care of it and actually used the thing. Now it hates her.

Yesterday when she was driving home it wouldn't come out of first gear, the heater would not come on, the signals would not work, the brake warning indicator came on, the overdrive light was flashing. Seems like mostly electrical, but that doesn't explain the transmission. Anyways, today it started right up and ran totally fine for me - not a problem at all. She wants to blame the cold, but I reminded her how much warmer yesterday was versus the previous 2 days. Monday, I drove across town with my 5 yr old to the mall in a sub-zero snowstorm - the trucks a winter champ!

And it hates her and I kinda like that...
