Afternoon everyone.
Things are "warmer" around here (we're above zero degrees, so that's a start).
I started my Grand Am yesterday (it had not been started since Sunday (I car pool with a guy and this was his week to drive).
So far, all good.

For those in the Northern half of the US or anyone in Canada, if skies are clear tonight you may very well be able to see the Norther Lights!
If it's clear out take a look to your north and see tonight!

Afternoon guys.

Starting to gradually warm up and the roads are finally beginning to get better. t's been too cold for salt so, instead, Washtenaw County has been throwing down a bunch of sand. Yesterday they started throwing salt and it's beginning to work. This is what majority of the roads still looked like as of yesterday:

Dave, by chance, that place isn't Dent Genius on Telegraph north of I-96 is it? I've been to that place once and I would go back again hands down; that guy knows his stuff.

Afternoon everyone, finally had our christmas party at work with the secret santa today, as with the recent strike it was put on the back burner, but sadly it didn't put me in a festive mood

I used to see the northern lights all the time when I was younger and lived in saskatchewan, but then again the old joke is true about that province
"Did you hear about the farmer who's wife left him? He watched her walk away for 3 days" lol,
I do remember the one time I was going to a friends house when I lived there and his directions were "turn right at the tree" and I kept thinking to myself, well what tree is he talking about, maybe there's something special about the tree that will stand out, but nope, after about a half hour of driving there was a single lone tree standing there beside a road, and yup that was the tree

Those lake effect bans off of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario are insane.

I looked about 1:30 am this morning for the Northern Lights and couldn't see anything. If I stay up past midnight again tonight I may try looking again.
