I sometimes use the brushless car wash, if you have real stuck on dirt it sometimes wont get it off. Otherwise i use the self wash pressure bays and they usually do a good job. Lots of options too.
Quite cold here today 25 and still pretty windy, got down to 16 over night. Time to finally get my little mod instaled on the monte and i'm gonna set up netflix. Have a good day everyone.

Why Mike, Whatever do you mean? I simply meant that sitting in the car having a machine do the work doesn't give you the satisfaction of hand washing the car yourself.
And if you believe that I have a bridge for sale...
I refuse to take any car through a car wash that uses brushes. For a quick hose off I go to the self serve 'magic wand' type car washes but the majority of the time I hand wash. With the colder weather though I got tired of dragging out all my cleaning supplies so I decided to try this brushless wash. I have to drive 5+ miles to get to it, but I work it into running other errands so I'm not driving out that way just to wash the car.

The brushless ones are the only ones I'll take the Monte through in the winter time. For me they usually keep soap trapped under my spoiler and when I drive home the back of the car is filthy again. But it's much better than not washing it / having brushes from a car wash hit it.

I dont like those high pressure washers, really bad for your paint. Since paint is sooo thin the high pressure can cause the paint to lift. happened to me last year.
Hope everyone is having a great week!! Gonna head to walmart and get a cover for my kindlefire.
Luv Ash!

In the winter months I visit the do it yourself car washes with the "magic wand" - usually costs me only around $3.00. When It's above freezing I wash it at home cause we have hot and cold water in the garage.
