Almost Friday? No, I don't want it to end! This weekend will end many things and I want a for more minutes in the sun. Oh, it's wintery now - no sun. This weekend the NASCAR season comes to an end, so I don't like that. And the end of the NASCAR season means that it's time to lock up the BudChev for the season. Snow soon...

Good morning guys. Cold with a very very light dusting of snow here. Brent, did you say snow?

Almost all of the Michigan UP is now covered in deep snow. Dead River Basin, near Negaunee MI, appears to be the winner, reporting 42.5" (that's a 'dusting' to the Yoopers). Portions of West Michigan will see 5-9" of lake effect snow today into tomorrow, and actually we could see up to 1" from it in the AA area. Thought everyone might want to see some of that good ole white stuff - here’s some pictures shot in the UP yesterday...

Thanks you for posting & sharing the weather that your area of the country is enduring already this season.

It's great for those that enjoy winter sports & it would be great to have a snow mobile 4-Sure...

I wish you & member's in the snow belts a safe winter season & I hope that the vehicle(s) that you drive are prepared to be out on your snow/ice covered roads.

How many member's have snow mobiles ? Or, are into winter sports ? Post & share > Please <

 

I have quite a few friends with snowmobiles but they usually head up North in the Northern Lower Peninsula or Upper Peninsula to ride. Downstate typically doesn't see the long periods of deep snow cover like they do up North, though last winter was an exception.

 

Hi `Matt, thanks for your reply. I hope that you have a mild winter this season. I look forward to visiting snow belt states/countries in my future. I just think it would be super fun on a snowmobile. Or trying to snowboard or ski

Good morning MCF! It looks like the big polar storm storm hit you guys up north pretty hard. Hope you guy's do not have to dig too much. I think it's gonna freeze us up tonight. Wow, what a start to winter. When is the first official start to winter?
