Also Chuck Norris.

About my defense on the Cobalt. I know a lot of good people that work assembling that vehicle in Lordstown, OH and a few more that got laid off and had their lives ruined. I've got to at least try defending it you know. The town itself is far from an import town, 99% of the people living and working there drive American and particularly GM vehicles.

Always awesome to meet another Brian for sure. Also nice Monte, love the 6th gens in that color. Were you the one who painted your dash silver to match up with your car?

I drive an 06' cobalt LS 2 door. and i freakin love it. other than it tops at 105 mph do to an electronic speed limiter, i love everything about it. I take it for "hubbard runs" which is a really curvy mountain road by my house and it rocks. i can get 32 mpg CITY! if i drive conservatively. as far as I'm concerned its a great buy.

Seemed dead on in what you were saying about the Cobalt. Just basically letting you know how hard willed my GF can be. As a matter of fact she's one of those people that if you try too hard she'll do the opposite just to show you that she's her own boss... what did Elvis say hard-headed woman and a soft hearted man... I'll shut up now just in case she comes over here! Love ya' dear!

Thaks for the complements on the car, I like her, but I can't take much credit I have to give that to GM. I haven't painted my interior but I do recall seeing it and for the life of me can't recall who the owner was. My car is basically box stock. I added a CAI, tinted the windows this past Monday and painted the engine cover.

Don't think she's going to have to worry about that speed limiter. Again that's the type of testimonial I was hoping for. Still kind of hoping for the Impala I saw on-line yesterday, it's a good deal but not sure if she can swing the taxes, insurance and loan.

My experience with GM does tend to lead me back to one of their products.
The Mazda6 is an amazing vehicle. The 2003-2008 body style. I havent driven one of the new ones. They are too expensive anyway. Before I decided to look at buying houses, I was saving up for a 2006-2008 Mazdaspeed6. I have driven the Mazda6 GT with the 6cyl and auto and I have driven the base model with the 4cyl and 5spd manual. Both cars were great cars. They are good quality and definately have that "zoom zoom" feel. Their manual trans was a little interesting at first but after you get used to it, its actually a pretty nice setup. The 6cyl seemed like a nice motor with good power, but was held back by the auto trans. I think the 6cyl with the 5spd manual would be a rocket.
