Default thinking ways to prepare Lola for winter

well I'm beginning to think it may be smart to protect my wheel studs from the harsh salt and sand and the easiest option would be to put my chrome hubcaps back on for winter but i've been interested in finding a way to just cover the studs and keep the steel wheel look. I happened across some malibu wheel center caps that screw onto the bolts as my stock hubcaps did. I know they are from malibu rims but I'm curious how well it will fill the center of my steel wheels and if it will fit on my bolts.

I think they will fit the center and i know the bolt pattern is the same. I have something similar on my monte but i have the police center caps and have 16 inch rims though. It looks like this:

I just drilled the holes in mine but you have to have the 16 inch steel wheels the 15 won't fit.
