If that's the case, I see a potential market for parts being made/harvested then sold from other countries. Most likely parts made in China, like everything else. Which kinda goes against the whole idea of getting Americans back to work.

Under CARS, Dealerships are limited to making $50 profit selling clunkers to salvage yards. But the Salvage Yards are allowed to harvest what they want before crushing the vehicle.

Well this just adds confusion for me.

I heard the salvage ayrds were only allowed to crush. No harvesting.

I saw an early 80's Grand Prix today that desperately needs to see the CFC program. This thing is so beat up, it's not worth fixing. Doesn't look like a single salvageable part on it. Even the decorative design on the tail lights is worn off.

IMHO, I can see that car going to the CFC graveyard. But not that red Firebird. The Firebird looks in great shape.
