Sam's SSV Turbocharged 07 Monte undercarriage detailed
Spent a little time on a very special 2007 Monte Carlo SS today. Sam's Monte is being readied for transport back to the State of Michigan. This build of 4.5 years is now finished and time for this magnificent World Class car to return home. Sam provided me the opportunity to do something special for his car, a little something I could be trusted to do without breaking his car, LOL
Took a few hours today and endeavored to detail his Monte's undercarriage in such a way he will be proud to have people peek under the car. The underside in and of itself is a work of art. Degreased it 3 times, all the control arms, Zert fittings and anywhere I could fit my grubby hands. Then cleaned with soap and water. Used microfibers to polish all the painted areas. Treated all the rubber, from exhaust hangers, cvc boots, wire looms, reverse sides of the tires etc. with Jax Wax Super Blue. Finally polished all the exhaust system and other shiney metal surfaces with Jax Wax Purple metal polish.
Another crew will arrive tomorrow to do a complete "Show Car" exterior / interior detailing. Claybarring and the whole enchilada.
Here are a few selected pics. Will add more in his garage in a few days.
Hood heat extractors will be installed tomorrow.

Your to kind, I worked my fingers off on that car. Wanted to do my best for him. Sam is such a nice gentleman. He's no stranger to fast cars, but this is his labor of love and I wanted it to sparkle underneath. He will be taking it to selected car events this year back there. He is talking to other forum members and may attend some events with them. Go see it if you can. It's insanely over the top, sic and a work of art.
