No, there is no way to bolt a supercharger from a monte to a 2.2l cobalt.

I would personally like to see that.... turbochargers run off of the exhaust, so you can hook those up on pretty much any engine you can think of. That's why there is one Cobalt SS for a couple years that was a turbocharged version....
the first years cobalt ss there was a na and a sc version. the na had a bigger motor then the sc. sc was 205hp and the na was 175. then they turbod the car and its like 260-270 hp now. heres a pic of the sc motor. you dont need to have and engine in a v configuration to supercharge it.

thats a really wild looking setup on the S/C cobalt, i thought they had them with a pro-charger style blower.

alright thanks guys, great to learn something new(kinda). but yeah, the kid is my brother in law and were going through a little quarawl right now, so he was on the phone while i was painting my mufflers. he was talking and started about how he was offered a supercharger from a monte for 100 bucks(hahahahahaha) and its just his immature way of "getting me back". trying to say he can throw a l67 supercharger on a 2.2 eco?? without modding?? yeah dude, okay.
