Default Supercharging a slo-balt

Just a quick question all. This is a stupid question and id rather not get into detail about why im asking but, is it possible to bolt on (with no mods) a supercharger from a 5th gen-up onto a cobalt with the 2.2 ecotec. let me know please and if you really want to know why im asking just let me know.

i doubt it.... the monte carlo's are all V6 cars, while the 2.2 is an I4.... if its a stick car though, i personally would not even bother with a supercharger / turbo... the lil 2.2 DOHC is an awsome engine in the 4 banger world IMO, i would do some other bolt-ons like headers ( ok, a header), a full exaust, a CAI, mabe aftermarket cams, do a preformance tune.... the lil thing will be FAST!

I don't think you can supercharge a 4 cylinder can you? Because I know on all the V6, V8's, so on, the supercharger bolts up on the intake and runs off the crankshaft... where are you going to bolt a supercharger on a 4 cylinder where it can run offf the crankshaft and still force air into the engine without a V shape engine set up? I would personally like to see that.... turbochargers run off of the exhaust, so you can hook those up on pretty much any engine you can think of. That's why there is one Cobalt SS for a couple years that was a turbocharged version....

I've never seen an M90 on an ecotec. I'm sure you could custom fab something, but I've never seen one done.
