Default Suggestions?

Any suggestions as to a reliable vehicle that seats at least 6 comfortably? I recently found out that there will be a new addition to my family. The Monte was pushing it with the 5 of us. I am not going to get rid of it. But I have to get something bigger for the family. Looking on craigslist I just don't see anything I like. And Fords are out of the question. If you have any suggestions that are not Fords they will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi `Brandon,
WoW, congrat's I hope ? I guess it wasn't planned ?
If you just found out (?), that mean you have some time to search for something that will work for your unexpected increase in family...

Chevy Impala's with bench seats would work, but there's not much room for much more in the cabin... I like Volvo Wagon's. They are safe & you can find some good used ones `if you search them out.
I know a few seniors that have them & a few surfer's that love them. You can get them with AWD & also turbo models that are fast.

Wish you good luck with family + with finding a car for everyone that you will enjoy..

If suv's are an option pick up a suburban or yukon xl, always plenty of them around used and they generally have long lives. Chevy traverse/gmc acadia is another option. Either that or a full size van, chevy express/gmc savanna, maybe like a conversion van.

Traverse is what my daughter has and she loves it, I have a 2013 Equinox and it is a great SUV but would only seat 5 max.
I used to have a Pontiac Transport that was a great mini van seats 7 the Chevy version is the Uplander and they are good too. the gas mileage is pretty good I took it to a scout camp in Wyoming and it was full of people and I still got better than 30 mpg with it until I got in the Mountains. Good luck hope that is helpful.

Thanks y'all for the suggestions. They are all better than what came up on a general search on craigslist and I will be checking them out. Mike you are correct we didnt plan this. We took preventative measures but those don't always work. But these things happen for a reason. Who knows what impact my unborn child will have on this earth? But even though unexpected, we are still happy. We already have 3 wonderful children and now we shall be blessed with another. I like the idea of an awd turbo Volvo wagon. Honda accords are reliable but it would have to be older than yours word because I only have 8 months to save for it. Uplander and traverse sound nice, I like the fuel mileage you speak of driver#3. Keane the only problem I have with the suburbans and Yukon's is the fuel mileage. I wouldn't think it would be too great. But I love them though I used to have an avalanche. Awesome truck. Not so awesome on gas.

I attached a photo of the one we had, I have a friend that has an 02/03 Uplander and he loves it. Good luck on your search.
I am all about the gas mileage every vehicle out there should get 40 plus while towing a 18 wheeler up a mountain at 85 miles per hour.
Impossible you say if the engineer says it can't be done get a new engineer.
