Alright, I'll bite...... There is one performance factor in favour of the Surf Board Spoiler that no has yet mentioned and that I personnally think is superior to our Nascar versions... How many times have we placed a nice, delicous cold beer on our spoilers only to find we now have a clean up of glass and golden nector to deal with and remain thirsty... The guy at GM who came up with the idea of having a serving tray attached to the back of a Monte was absolutely brilliant and definately a coniseur of beer... 3 Cheers for that glorious bastard!!! Oooops, Can I say bastard on here?...:lmao:

Good point crusader! I never thought of that. Long live the "Serving Tray" spoiler!

LOL!! Thanks for all the comments! I didn't mean to start a thread on bashing surfboard spoilers, but I love the commentary. was the 'surfboard spoiler' name started around this site? I hope 'serving tray spoiler' doesn't stick, but it was a good analogy.

All in good fun... A jackass friend of mine once ask me if that was the Viagra version of a spoiler on my car???... He was looking at it from the side... ... I told him to get use to it as that spoiler is all he would see when his ricer was where it should be, behind me...

Spoilers on a FWD car are silly, but not as bad as the dinky little pop-ups like in the Crossfire.

I'm gonna reach with this one, but... a couple people commented that spoilers on FWD cars are silly, which I'm assuming that's because the drive wheels are in the front and not getting the benefit of down force, but wouldn't it still be effective to put down force on rear wheels for traction (cornering perhaps) especially since it is inherently lighter in the rear than a RWD car since it doesn't have the driveshaft/rear axle and such. (disclaimer - this statement is made with the assumptions that spoilers are effective and providing some downforce for the sake of the statement)

I'm going to say no, since these cars already weight so much lol. They are just strictly for looks

Also, putting something on the car I would never!!! Especially a can of anything.

I thought that thing looks more like a snow board than a surf board. It still looks better than no spoiler at all. I mean our trunklid looks like a 80's Lincoln Continental
