I have had a chevy truck with a 6.2 diesel and I hated that motor. If I found something with a 6.5l I would jump all over it. The issue has been that I am limited to 2000 for this vehicle and there are no 6.5 diesels around at that price. I could wait and save, but I need something sooner than later and I am on track to pay the Monte off by this summer so that I am debt free other than the house.

I was looking at Tahoe's and full size Blazers, but the tahoes all are 4k or above and I don't want to spend that. The Blazers are nice, but I decided to go with a longer wheel base for towing. That leaves me a suburban or chevy truck. I have 4 other suburban's to look at, but they are 88-91 and have higher miles than this one.
