They sell doggy pooper scoopers. Can you imagine people carrying around buffalo sized pooper scoopers when you walk the buffalo?

Wait a minute! Horses aren't native either! What are they going to do with horses?

I did find where dogs, cats, cows, horses, goldfish and a few others were safe, none of which are native, but it still leaves a huge gap.

Now if you'll excuse me I need to go walk my Buffalo. Sounds like a euphemism for something don't it?

(wondering how many people are now looking up the meaning of "euphemism") :p

haha, I jus learned the meaning of euphemism in english last week.... it makes something sound less harsh, more " nicy- nice" like instead of saying " im so sorry that he DIED"
you say " im sorry that he "passed away." george carlin did a big skit on euphemisms... thats why i really remembered it!

Wouldint it be funny if everyone kept a buffalo or two as a pet instead of a dog or cat, seeing your neighbors walk them, having to cleen up the POOP ( now THERES a scary thought).

maby a pet deer... i dont know about the rest of the US, but here the deer will come when you call, eat out of your hand ( that always impresses the city folk), and they look both ways when crossing the street. No lie.

Gotta have a $1000 permit to have a deer in Texas.
And yep, I've seen 'em that tame before too, but ya gotta stay away from the bucks when their antlers harden, they'll gore ya in a heartbeat if they decide to.

Up here in Canada we got deer, moose, caribou, and beaver. (joke all you want. but please remember this is a family forum)

It may be a little rough having these kind of animals as pets.

they can get quite nasty in rutting season, my newer neighbor tried to shoo one away from her car, it chased her around the car a few laps untill she jumped in and hit the horn, that scared it off... i do not think there are many people who have not grown up around deer that expect something so pecefull the rest of the year to get so nasty, i cannot even count how many new neighbors i have warned of this.

maby we should release all the soon to be illegal pets into the senate buildings, and tell them well come get them only if the bill is vetoed. haha, can you imagine the chaos?
