It was sad that you got a novice dispatcher @ work. That's a very important position and I know if they aren't good it can mess everything up. Will you keep your same route once your off probation ? I hope you start to enjoy your job & do some mod's to your UPS Truck (lol)...

LOL Mod `Barbara, those are great mod's to the UPS Trucks. If I was president of UPS I would do some creative scheme's to the trucks to indicate speed of delivery. I think they would draw attention to the company by everyone that see's them on the road.

Maybe `Keane could write to the President of the company & suggest it> then get a big Pay raise

I'm suppose to be checking invoices, but it's a very boring task.
I was suppose to go fishing & surfing, but the boss sent me a file to work on & he needs it done this weekend.

I imagine your running an hei didtributor...
I'm curious...
Is attached to a vacuum advance?
Or a mechanical advance?

The reason I ask...
I noticed after the launch..it took it a sec to really get up and run..

Or...
Does it have vacuum advanced secondarys?

Just curious. .
I may have an idea or 2 to help remedy it..

 

Mod David- I got the car all ready to go last night in anticipation of racing today. Makes Saturday mornings MUCH easier on me. But Mother Nature is being hateful to us racers today and we have been rained out Now I will try to figure out what I am going to do today. Just saw your post..I run mechanical secondaries. I am also only running 1800 stall and a stock 2:42 rear end. Once I put in a 3000 stall and the 390 rear end with full spool I acquired...she will be down in the 12 second range.

Races are always better when you have a friend in the Race. Wish you a super time 2night. I'm just thankful that NASCAR is on today & 2morrow on Broadcast T.V. I still don't know who to pick 4 tomorrow, but it would be great to see Dale Jr win in honor of his father

Yes it just takes time and money. But it is the never ending quest for HP. Once I get all that done, it will be something else...LOL I have done all of my racing without sponsorship....LOL Kind of hard to get sponsors what you are not that good...hahaha But I am having a great time and when I stop having fun, I will stop racing. If I had sponsors, I would be obligated. Right now I am only obligated to myself to have as much fun as possible!!!
It is a pain to fix messed up invoices. I am still trying to get things straightened out from when I missed some work and someone else was doing billing...yikes.
