Sad day, the GPs days are number with me

Fires in general with fuel injected Fords seems to be an issue. I wasn't implying that you beat on your vehicles. Just giving some helpful product knowledge. Being a four wheel drive truck one would think you could take it out into the woods and trails. Can't with a Ford. Not an issue with a Chevy, Dodge, or a Jeep.

Lol theres not really a lot of wooding here thats free to go into on the farms is a rough as it gets and I'm bearly there, my grandpa never had issues with his 97 he had new and spent 112,000 on it mostly farm lived miles, I would love a chevy, had my share of dodges and would like to get a newer one like a 03 or 04 but for the price I went with whats in the budget

I had a 99 and an 01 Ram loved the look and the sound the engiens produced, but after spending 1500 in front end parts on the 99 and having a coolant and oil isse i got rid of it, that 99 had the 318. So I thought since I LOVE dodge I will give the 01 sport with a 360 a chance, again front end parts started going, and i had the same coolant issues, I decided it was a lesson learned sexy truck but horrible on gas with both v8 engines (10.3 tops in the 360 and 11 tops in the 318), I would have likec a Chevy but the location I'm in it seems like all chevys even with 300k are a minumum of $5,500

One word of caution about tha Ford truck. The frames on all the Forf light duty trucks from 1996 and newer have weak frames. Look for dents at the back of the cab where the frame twisted and the bed came up and hit the back of the cab. This is NOT the truck you want to go four wheeling in. You will bend the frame. Do some Internet searching and I am sure you will see some horror stories.

Either way I will have it looked over, not going to be doing a lot of rough housing with it, i tried searching the frame problems and all I came up with is the rapot bent frames, and a few rust problems, honestly though almost everything has its fair share of issues, and as I stated before I've always always been against owning a ford I'd rather have a chevy or dodge, but the truck looks good, it feels great so tight on steering and everything, feels so new to me compared to the previous 3 trucks I've had I must say I'm impressed, but as I said its going to get a good looking at.
