The reason he may be asking that price is that 1977 was the last year the corvette had the small back window. in 1978 the corvette went to the fast back rear window. So that could make the 77s worth a little more. any time it was the last year for something like that on a vette generally makes it worth more.
the mid 80s model vettes are the least expensive right now.

in reference to kbb.com they dont post older car prices for some reason. ive done a little research and yea 10,000 is a solid number for a solid car, which this is questionable. 80s corvettes do run pretty low and for good reason they are butt ugly. i love newer stingray body style like the 77 has.

i guess if i have 5,000 cash by the end of the summer(sure i will) ill just offer it to him, shrug if he doesnt want it.

apparently my mom stopped and looked at it for the hell of it he told her 9500 then my brother stopped by and he told him 13!
