Hi Barbara, if buying just for a parts car it seems like it may be a good deal. I am sure you can lowball him on the price, as a lot of people shy away from the projects as they just don't have the time, money and resources to finish them. It says it comes with performance parts but being a 305 not sure what if any will transfer over to your 350 but you may get something of value, also the rims, if they come with the car if you don't keep you can sell to recoup some of the cost of buying the car.

All in all it looks like a winning deal for you

 

I sent him an email about the tranny, rear end, rims, tires...waiting on a response and I asked if he would take 800!!! Also asked about performance parts. The 305 would be a spare in case something happens to the 350. Hope he responds back soon.

 

800? your nicer than I am, lol, I would have offered him 600 and been prepared to come up to 8.

If the tranny is in good shape and the rear end, they will drop right in to your car

 

I thought about 600 but figured he would never respond...lol Depending on his answers to my questions it may go to 600. Yes the rear end and tranny would go right under my car!!! Praying it's posi!!!

No response yet so who knows. It would only be a parts car for sure. My kids keep saying "Why don't you do something for yourself with your money instead of putting it all in to your cars?" My cars ARE what I do for myself!!! Honestly, if I had the money, I would buy the project car and fix it up and have 3 Montes...lol Kind of impractical without a garage.
