Question OnStar Question.......?

Good Morning: I have a few question about OnStar ? What can OnStar do for me. What are the features they offer ? And whats the monthly cost ? I've had it on more then a few vehicles but never activated it. I was wondering if it's worth it or not . All comments welcomed. Thanks....... Rick

I've used mine several times. I had to use it one time when a friend went off the road wrecked his car in the mountains. BAD accident, including a fatality. There were no phones around, and of course no cell phone signal in the mountains. Onstar worked and saved my friends life.

If you do a LOT of driving away from civilization, such as in the boonies, then it's a pretty good thing. If you drive anywhere you can get a cell phone signal and there is other traffic, then forget it.

We have it active on 1 car but not the other (my car), and the 1st is now in storage and Onstar isn't getting renewed when the time comes.
