Google the VIN. If it was sold at a reputable auction, there is a good chance there are pictures. Salvage can be for a number of reasons. The car may have been a flood victim. Most states will not let a salvage car be sold unless it is to a garage. Then they transform it into a rebuilt title car after being certified roadworthy. Good luck.
