Good morning guys. Well, Dean, that snow is over us now.

27 degrees and the snow is coming down pretty good this morning, our first snow of the season. Just started about 5:30 am so it was a snowy commute. Looking at 1-2" today. Wind chills tomorrow morning are suppose to be around 15 degrees.

 

Well now that winter is here? This sucks we got about 5 months to go? Anyway last night got up about 12:30AM and the Temp was 9 degrees that is crazy?

 

Yeah -- two months ago at the West Point car show it was like a summer day. Now it really feels like January already.

Good morning guys. We had 85 degrees one month ago

14 degrees at 9am yesterday morning - 28 degrees at 6am this morning. We got about 1.5" of snow on Friday which all melted by yesterday. Looks like we can expect another 1-2" of snow tonight as well.

Detroit's getting ready to light its Christmas tree this Friday. This year's tree is a 60-foot Norway Spruce donated by a couple in Plymouth, MI who otherwise would have cut it down for removal from their front yard.



Michigan beat Rutgers 42-7 on Saturday and remain at #4 in the rankings

Nascar's title race at Homestead is this Sunday. The championship 4 drivers are Joey Logano, Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick and Martin Truex Jr.

23 degrees this morning. We got 2.3" of snow at home last night. That puts our season total so far at 3.8".

 

22 degrees this morning the Snow has begun to melt in some areas of the yard.
Went to the City yesterday had a service on the Equinox.
Then do some shopping for Thanksgiving. Wow that was a long day for sure.
To much time listening to Mrs. Bickerson on the bright side I have new hearing aides and can pretty much shut down all sound. Lol
It is supposed to warm up today thru Friday and maybe I can get the Christmas lights up on the house.

 

Good morning guys. #18 Michigan basketball beat #8 Villanova 73-46 last night (rematch of last season's nat'l championship game). Pistons beat first place Toronto at the buzzer last night as well.

22 degrees this morning AND MORE SNOW which should be starting around 8-9am this morning and go through tomorrow morning - NWS is saying 1-3" and The Weather Channel is showing 1-3" but saying 3-5", so I guess that means we can expect anywhere in the range of 1-5"

Not sure when I'll be able to get our leaves cleaned up (wanted to do mid-late Nov.) AND get the Monte officially stored (just sitting uncovered and dirty, oil needs changing and fuel stabil added). Seems fall only lasted a couple weeks before winter plummeted in.

 

I am hoping to get some leaves picked up today and tomorrow I wish my neighbors would do theirs so it wouldn't blow them around to my house. Going to get some Christmas lights up today and some more tomorrow if possible. Got the Christmas trees set up for Mrs Bickerson, they are never right the way I do it.

 

I'm that neighbor this year unfortunately and I feel bad, although I'm not the only one. This year I had a lawn company cut our lawn at the new house because I don't have my own riding mower yet. Because of that I had planned to have them do a cleanup. Otherwise, I'd be out there doing my own occasional cleanups. I was out with my blower multiple times blowing the leaves out of the landscaping aroun the house but that's all I've done, just moved em from one spot to another in the yard.
