Default Norman, Oklahoma Tornadoes

I Want to ask every9one to please say a prayer to everyone that has been lost and hurt in the resent tornadoes that Hit Oklahoma.

I creepy part is that i know exactly where it hit. We used to live in Norman and it really is a sobering thought that we lived right where the tornado hit.

The news are talking about more tornadoes today. Mother nature sure nkow how to flex her muscles.

I really hope that our member Wil ( Montyss02 ) is safe.

So please say a little prayer for everyone there.

Hi J.J., I seen the results on this mornings news
and prayed. Mother `Nature can be cruel,
and I will never understand her reasons,
if she has any.
Maybe it's a reminder to `all on how fragile life is
for everyone
I always pray for Peace/Happiness for `all.
I shall continue, until I cease to `be

Hey JJ, what's going on? How's the family? I'm good, although the car got a bit dinged up 'cause of the hail. I left Moore before it got hit and I thought I was clear but when I got to Bethany the tornado that hit Yukon was still going and the hail got me, lol. Once I got home to Warr Acres all was good, the sun was even shining. Norman got it pretty good. I drove through there today and where tornadoes hit they hit hard. A friend's house got hammered next to lake thunderbird by the tornado that destroyed the Luv gas station. We're expecting another round tomorrow. Pretty unreal! Thanks for the prayers!

My brother lives in OKC as well. Said one of the tornados was about 1 mile from them. Since I know my family is safe all my prayers go out to those not as fortunate!

Thanks for the update Wil. Glad you're okay.
Thoughts and prayers to everyone. In hopes that people can rebuild soon.

Like Space said. Mother Nature can be cruel, and certainly unpredicatble sometimes. It seems unfair that so many people, and people's hard work is destroyed so quickly and violently by the forces of nature.

Oklahoma tornadoes photos and pictures: Governor Henry declares state of emergency in Oklahoma

After a series of deadly tornadoes ripped through Oklahoma, Governor Henry declared a state of emergency. He said that there is an emergency in 56 of Oklahoma’s counties. The tornadoes shredded mobile homes in seconds, flipped cars, toppled trees and downed power lines. The Red Cross has set up shelters across Oklahoma City and they have established a hotline for those missing loved ones. Those who need to may call (405) 321-0591.
