careful with hid's kits off of ebay they are very worthy of catching on fire. Ive had a pontiac owner try to my car down and all he has is the 3.4 block and 3.1 top end. I didnt car, i do want I WANT with my car, thats why i hate wanna be car clubs too

On a motor week video on youtube the 00 MC SS ran the 1/4 in 15.7

That's exactly what my MC Z34 ran when it was literally bone stock. That's why you have to take these internet times with a grain of salt. A 16.6 second 1/4 is about on par for a 6th gen LS.

You said you'd be in the 13s easily with an intercooler, and pulling the motor makes the job a lot less practical for a lot of people, not everyone has an engine stand and cherry picker

I know, and if you do it makes it a lot easier.

thats what i was running with my 96 ls when i just had and intake and exhaust

That's actually pretty good for a 5th gen 3100. My old 95 LS ran a 16.8 with a cherry bomb.
