If you do a top swap, I would advise doing headers while you are in there. Makes it a lot easier.

My monte with headers and a fender well intake ran a 15.9. That was with no wheel slip, it was decently cool out. About a perfect run for the thing.

So far, top swapped, with headers, ported supercharger and N* tb I can hold dead even with a trail blazer ss. Thats a low 14, maybe a 13. In my opinion, it was a lot of work for a car that will get walked by a stock ls1.

Honestly, if you do a cammed l67 swap and headers, you will be around $1500, but in the 13s, easily. With an intercooler. Not to mention it is a lot easier to cam an engine when its out of the car.

I have one planned for mine, but it's gonna have a little more to it and gonna be a bit of a hybrid. I'd help if you didn't live clear all the way up there.

If you're going to do one single mod to an NA 3800, go with rockers, it's the best bang/buck if you're staying NA. Otherwise, top swap is the best bang/buck. Ultimately though, a turbo is just the best

Don't let the load mouth get to you.The ones that talk the most smack tend to drive the slower/doggy cars.
As far as a race would go both cars are close it be a drivers race.N/A 6 gens aren't as slow as some people may think.

I think it would be a race against how well of a shifter he is.

They are individuals that eat, drink, and breathe rock-n-roll music 24/7.

Rather than write out a long, drawn out explanation I'll just point you to one.

I was basically going to say the same thing Chibi did, depends on how he races/drives, couple days ago my friend messing around at a red light stomped a mustang gt I'd say it was a 97?, in his aurora with a 3500, I think because the driver of the mustang stomped on it and sat there spinning since it was raining
