new look of the cts-v
as most of you know i have done a decent amount of mods to the cts-v over winter. well along with the go fast mods i have done some visuals also. i installed the APR splitter, blacked out the front grills on the bumper so far. i am working on carbon fiber wrapping the fog light housings, chrome window trim, chrome strip across the back of the car as we speak. i will also be getting the black version cadillac cts-v wheels. the hood i posted about fell through on the group buy so not sure what im doing there yet, im really disappointed in the group buy falling through as i really wanted the hood!
before i get into the pics though i would like to share the video of first start up with all the new go fast goodies installed!

now onto some pics!
grills are done with 4 coats black plastidip and 4 coats glosifier.
color sprayed:
glosifier:
finished:
now the apr splitter:
before support rods and still chrome grills:
with black grills and support rods:

That looks nice!!! Getting that grill material evenly covered must have been a nightmare..
BTW There was a glimpse of your Monte in one of the pics. What kind of wheels are those? Those are SHARP!!!
Some girls prefer shiny diamonds and such, I prefer CHROME!!! LOL

When you mention black wheels, do you mean actual black (gloss or flat, it's black) or Black Chrome??
Last year at the GM Nats, my brother-in-law had his STS-V and another guy had a modded STS-V. The other's guy's Caddy had the same factory wheels my brother in law has, but before he owned the car, some one had them re-done in black chrome!!! I cannot express how awesome that made the car look (plus he was either de-badged or the badged were done in regular black).
You are blacking a lot of OEM chrome, if the wallet can afford it, black chrome wheels may really set this Caddy off!

I am going with the factory cadillac satin black oem replacement wheels they put on the black cts-v's. I was thinking about black chrome but it's still a little too shiny for me even though it does look amazing!!
