The car is in the shop getting the rad done right now. The lines will wait I'm I'm no rush and will take lots of thought into my decision. If I had it my way I'd get something new and keep her for the summer, fun cruising. But we don't have space for that lol, so I still don't know what to do. Fiancé and his parents say get rid of it, my mom sees where I'm coming from. So I'm not sure yet

I see where they're coming from to tho. I'm going to be doing quite a bit of driving around Alberta to go to competitions and stuff with my dog, they just want me in something safe and reliable.. Don't get me wrong the monte has never! Left me stranded she gets me somewhere I need to be.. Then breaks lol

Too bad cause my 05 SS supercharged is up for sale - it doesn't have exactly low miles on it - 92,000 - but most of the miles were all highway so mechanically it's in tip top shape and really doesn't need anything.

The final decision is ultimately yours....Its good that moms on your side....

Sounds like fiancee and his parents have there mind made up.....but
heres my vote...im with you and your mom on this....that makes it 3 to 3 a tie?

So whatever you deceide from here to do...you got my vote! and support...

Personally I like the car...

If your car is getting rusty then I agree with your fiancé and his family because a rusty undercarriage on a unibody car compromises your safety. If it isn't rusty then keep fixing it. You already repaired the two most important and expensive items in the engine and transmission. Learn from the books that I suggested and keep rolling up the miles. The decision is yours and you should not allow anybody to pressure you one way or another.

I'd look into another used car if you don't feel that the monte is reliable anymore
