Well I worked on the car for about an 1-2 hours on Friday, about 3 hours on Saturday, and another 2-3 hours today.... and here is my progress..







And the proof that I have a 429...

 

Congrat's Duane on latching on to your "Dream Car", at an affordable price. I'm sure the repairing will get frustrating, but it will be rewarding when it's done!

429? NICE! Maybe not the 428CJ, but better than a 302 or big brother 351, or the 390 or it's kid brother, the 352. Good solid foundation for a nice ride! I had a buudy TEARS ago that had a one, and I believe it was the same color, but a small block. I don't think it was the GT.

So here are a few more pictures. I got teh hash marks (the chrome behind the windows) off, and the C stripe, plus the bumpers... then I did some stripping on the interior.
